North Yellowstone Stables

Located on Highway 89 five miles north of Gardiner, Montana at Yellowstone's northern gate, North Yellowstone Stables offers horse boarding on a daily and monthly basis. If you are traveling to the Yellowstone area with horses, this is about your only option, short of private arrangements.

North Yellowstone Stables is privately owned and operated by Todd & Sandie Koel, who provide quality hay and good facilities for your horses and/or mules at reasonable rates. They do all of the feeding and keep a close watch over the stock. If need be, they have contacts to the best local veterinarians and farriers.

Todd & Sandie also have extensive experience in the backcountry of Yellowstone and can point you toward the best rides in the park. They have their own website.
