Waterfalls of Yellowstone

Mile for mile, this is the most beautiful trip we offer. Short easy days in the saddle leave us lots of time for visiting some of Yellowstone's most beautiful waterfalls and soaking in some of the world's greatest thermal hot springs. For the fisherman in the family, it also provides some of the Park's best fly fishing. This is a very special trip that we are only able to offer once or, at most, twice per year.

We like to offer this pack trip in late August or September, after the bug season. On this trip we visit some of the Park's greatest treasures, such as Union Falls, on the edge of the Pitchstone Plateau, and Dananda Falls. We take day trips to Scout Pool and Mr. Bubbles, the Park's best backcountry soaking.

This pack trip takes you through the Bechler meadows and into the Bechler canyon along one of the most beautiful stretches of trail in all of Yellowstone. There are breathtaking views of the Grand Tetons and many waterfalls, including Ouzel, Dananda, Colanade, Ragged, and many more. . . .

This is a great trip for fishing and photography and a great alternative for those who might not quite be up to the rigors of our Thorofare Trip.
