This is a new trip to our regular fare, and it is a very wonderful one. We began running this trip as a reroute during fire years, and we quickly realized how special the route was. The Two Ocean Plateau is the most remote trail in all of Yellowstone, and it is home to the Continental Divide. It is very difficult to reach because it is so far from anywhere, and the country is utterly wild and seldom travelled.

This trip takes you through one of our favorite parts of Yellowstone, the Red Mountains. By way of the Snake River Canyon, we get to the Two Ocean Plateau, and this is a very special place. It is where the waters of the world recess to two different oceans. You are as far from anywhere as you can get on this trip, and the views of Yellowstone Lake are unsurpassed.

This trip runs 6 days/5 nights and costs $2,700. Below is an animated map that shows you our route. This trip should be compared closely to our Thorofare Trip and our Waterfalls trip. All are great trips offering rather different things.
