Buffalo and the American Indian - Full Day Rides

Full Day Ride There are few guarantees where viewing wildlife is concerned, but buffalo can almost always be found in the Hayden Valley. We offer a day ride dedicated to viewing buffalo as well as Sulphur Mountain, one of Yellowstone's little-known thermal features.

The Hayden Valley is home to one of the world's largest herds of free roaming bison. This magnificent animal was the primary food source for the American plains Indians, and it was frequently hunted in Yellowstone.

We take you on a day ride dedicated to viewing this great symbol of the American West. It follows the route shown on the map to the right.
