Yellowstone outfitter Jett Hitt is the composer of the number one selling CD in Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone for Violin and Orchestra, recorded by the Slovak Radio Symphony. Though may he not look much look like a classical composer, he holds a doctorate in music composition; he even holds a degree in German.
He comes from a family that is deeply entrenched in the horse world, including a grandfather who rode saddle bronc in the 1940's and 50's; another who bred and trained Quarter Horse Paints; an uncle who owned the world's second largest herd of Foundation Quarter Horses; and even a distant cousin who trained Unbridled, the 1990 winner of the Kentucky Derby.
Jett began his career in Yellowstone working as a wrangler, giving one-hour horseback rides. He is now a Yellowstone outfitter, offering day rides and pack trips into the paradise that changed the course of his life. All of the photos that you see on this web site are his.
